Find A Course Near You

The 3 Wheel Course is a hands-on, step by step course designed to teach beginning 3 wheel motorcycle drivers the physical and mental skills necessary to ride safely on the street. The course is approximately 12 hours and includes approximately 4 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours on-cycle training.

The curriculum includes basic 3 wheel cycle operation, maximum effective braking techniques, turning skills and obstacle avoidance.

Students must provide their own 3 wheel cycle, proof of insurance and protective riding gear. Students that meet evaluation standards at the end of the course receive a completion card and their Class M license with a “9” restriction. This restriction prohibits operating a 2-wheeled motorcycle.

You may be entitled to insurance premium discounts through participating insurance companies.
